Barely alive, Finn called Shiela “mom.” Even though fans were sure Sheila was still alive, the actress truly believed the character was gone forever.

Kimberlin spoke about getting that surprise call from head writer and executive producer Bradley Bell. The actress also spoke about trust from fans and has addressed the situation.

B&B spoilers reveal that Sheila “died” two months ago. When Sheila broke into Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) home, there was no reason for anyone to suspect it was anyone else. Steffy stabbed Sheila in self-defense.

When the body was carted off to the morgue, Deacon asked to look at Sheila’s face. Deacon thought he was looking at Sheila and never thought of checking her toes. That was, until Janet “Sugar” Webber (Kimberlin Brown)

B&B Spoilers – Clues & Speculation

After Sheila’s death, fans asked Kimberlin if she was really gone. At the time, the actress told publications and media outlets that it “appeared” as if Sheila was really gone forever.

Now, Brown knows that anything can happen with soaps and death doesn’t necessarily mean the end. At the time of Kimberlin’s statements, though, she truly thought it was a done deal. 

Despite what Kimberlin thought, fans had a feeling that Sheila was still alive. That was confirmed in the episode that aired on Monday, April 29, 2024.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that after the big reveal in Monday’s episode, Deadline published an interview with Kimberlin. The actress admitted being surprised by Brad’s call after Sheila’s death. 

“He was very vague. He was like, ‘Okay, I’m working on something. I don’t know what it is.’ And I said, ‘Okay.’ Talk about a roller coaster. The only thing I can think of is maybe it’s because of my fans, maybe everyone who was commenting, who made everything go viral. Brad does listen. He does pay attention, and in my opinion, I truly believe that my following and my fans and the people who have loved to hate Sheila all these years are responsible for me coming back.”

While Kimberlin is excited to be back, she is also concerned about fan trust. The actress explained that is something she takes very seriously. Kimberlin doesn’t want fans to think she was duping them.

Kimberlin truly thought Sheila was dead and was surprised to find out she’s being resurrected.

“I really did because I truly thought I was gone. I gave the interviews knowing that I was gone and I was looking forward to the next chapter in my life and what might come out of it acting wise or otherwise. I even bought property in Montana. I’m expecting a grandchild in June. My son lives there and I’m building a home in Montana so I can be closer to my grandchild. I was looking to close down my home in Los Angeles that I rent for work. And thank God I got the call from Brad the week before I was moving out of my house in L.A. I truly thought this was a done deal.” 

We are happy that Kimberlin Brown is back as Sheila Carter! Now, what does this mean for Sheila, Deacon, Finn, Steffy, and the other characters?
