Steffy believes Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) is just making things up to hurt Thomas. Steffy tells John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that the police investigated and cleared Thomas. Steffy is worried that Hope is using Thomas.
Finn agrees that Hope breaking up with Thomas could be his breaking point. Finn still argues that Xander is convinced Thomas murdered his cousin. Steffy tells Finn that Thomas is innocent and demands he let this go.

Finn texts Hope to come to his office. Finn tells Hope he is worried about her involvement with Thomas. Steffy tells Thomas about Xander’s accusations.
Steffy tells Thomas that Xander showed up at Finn’s office. Thomas says he wasn’t at Forrester long. Steffy believes this is a big deal, but Thomas doesn’t, and believes Finn is worried about nothing. Finn tells Hope that Xander was there. Finn can’t just forget what Xander told him. Finn says Xander accused Thomas of murder.
