The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been the perfect supportive wife lately. Brooke hasn’t always agreed with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) throughout Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) hospital crisis, but she’s been careful to respect his opinion since he has medical power of attorney.

Even before Eric’s hospital stint, Brooke was always there to comfort Ridge and give him pep talks when needed.

Eric’s health has been the priority, so B&B has kept Ridge and Brooke on solid ground throughout this ordeal.

Brooke and Ridge have been getting along beautifully, but things could get more challenging in the new year.

Once the show moves on from Eric’s medical storyline, they can bring back some of their typical relationship drama.

It’s just tough to believe Ridge and Brooke are going to live happily ever after without any problems.

Brooke and Ridge have never been able to do that before, so there’s no reason for them to start now!

However, things could get interesting since Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is off the show and won’t be around to play another round of her usual love triangle with Ridge and Brooke.

It’s possible B&B writers will use a different love interest to come between Brooke and Ridge, but maybe something else could derail their romance instead.

We can think of one easy option that could affect Ridge and Brooke’s relationship in a big way.

As Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) romantic involvement gets more serious, it could cause issues for Brooke and Ridge.

Brooke still thinks Hope is in her rebellious phase and that she’s making a mistake by getting too close to Thomas.

This isn’t a relationship that’s meant to last in Brooke’s eyes, so she may flip out if Thomas and Hope ultimately get engaged.

Ridge has had more of a “grown adults should make decisions for themselves” attitude about the whole thing.

We haven’t seen the same level of outrage from Ridge on this pairing at all.

The deeper Hope and Thomas’ romance gets, the more supportive Ridge may become.

Eric already gave his approval, so Ridge may be next – especially since Hope has really stepped up for Thomas during the stress of his granddad’s illness.

Ridge might decide Hope and Thomas’ relationship is the real deal, so he could get behind a wedding when Brooke vehemently objects.
